I want to learn to draw backgrounds but I don't even have patience to draw full body now..
WELL I sort of need to draw more bgs for my book so practicing is a given. speaking of my book, the smartest thing would probably be to start doing at least the storyboard, but who said I was smart it just turns me off because it's for school orz

oh, I was asked to draw for a con again!(aka I get in for free ohohoho) this time my friend is supervising so hopefully it won't be as stressful as the summer of '08. the con will be in about two months, in purim, and I'm planning to also cosplay for it! I'm hoping this con will be worth my time

what else.. I already sent the christmas cards off and I really hope they get to their destinations in time-ish. and uh.. i sort of... didn't write my address on the envelopes because I'm stupid so if they didn't get to you after a while.. they are lost forever 8D;;
I already got some of the cards sent to me too *3* thank you starstrayand milk_of_lime!! feeling obligated to get a board now so I can pin all things I get on it haha

sooo yesterday i went to Otaku con which is a sad, sad name. I went by myself this time and it was only a matter of time I start screwing things up, especially when the con is being held in GOD KNOWS WHERE.
and so I did.
my friends told me to look for line 69 at the bus station outside the train but there was no 69! so i just took a random bus that was going the same direction
and missed my stop because i don't know that gd city
I had to take another bus back and the nice driver told me where i had to get off ;o; then i called meeshk to come look for me because I didn't want to get lost again ahah

Adelaide then Melbourne then Sydney in February. Whoop whoop. I really miss home. I long for an Australian summer. Festival gigs, HQ & late nights on the beaches. Aldinga & Glenelg. Barbeques up in the Hills. Man why didn't I appreciate this stuff while I was there. I wonder if I move away from this place I'll start missing what I had here. If I'm going to spend my life here, there, everywhere, there's always going to be a piece of me left behind. & then I'll disintegrate into nothingness & BE ONE WITH THE WORLD. Boom cha cha, boom boom cha.

I'm in Israel right now. :D Three week visit. Anyone wanna meet up? Also, who's going to the con on Tuesday?

I saw them again today.
It really pulled at my heart strings.
But I tried to stay strong.
It couldn't be avoided.
As casually as I could I asked them "So... how have you been?"
It made things really awkward.
They said nothing, as expected I suppose...
I wasn't sure what to do at that point, but I felt I had to deal with this situation sooner or later.
I tried them on for one last time & gazed longingly at them in the mirror. They'd be gone by next season... I'll probably never see them again.
& then I felt so angry at them for being so expensive.
So I left.
